last year was crap. 4 deaths in the family, one of which I was there to discover with the deceased’s youngest daughter. family fights throughout, causing a divide. My fiancé got in an argument with my mother on Mother’s Day weekend, effectively ruining their relationship. My father banned her from the house and any family gatherings, as if he could stop me from bringing her to christmas or anything like that. I moved out last june, and its been rough. 3 months of little to no money, surviving off dollar rice, ramen, and the kindness of coworkers so I could get back on my feet. ended up losing about 35 pounds over the course of the year. After multiple arguments with my fiancé, I put my foot down on certain out-of-pocket shit she did, and a lot of what I was doing. We were supposed to move in together in october, but that was ruined by her mother, who went so far as to ignore my fiancé’s constant refusal to move out on her own, constantly try convincing her to move into an efficiency

Its been a few days since my big move. Things have changed slightly with my parents, insofar as they have finally expressed happiness that I'm moving out on my own, and my mother got teary-eyed when I finally left. Moving day was ROUGH tho. Had to do the lion's share of the work cuz one of my friends fell down the stairs a few days earlier, while the other had his knee dislocate on my stairwell while helping me move. Us bigger people are rather injury-prone. Ended up crippled myself because of the rough move for a few days. couldn't move much, let alone stand up straight. After moving finished, I painted my room! Decided on black cuz I want to line the whole thing in LEDs, rgb and blacklight LEDs to be exact! First things first, tho. Gotta finish unpacking!

welp, ya boi is moving. First time moving without the rest of my family. It feels weird, not gonna lie. No matter how awful they were/are to me, I still care what they think and it hurts me. They couldn't even be happy for me when I told hem. All they cared about is the fact that it came right after a fight between my fiance and my mother. My fiance was in the wrong and knows that, and how ridiculous she was afterward as well. My parents aren't exactly the forgiving type, namely my dad. As far as he's concerned, she's banned from his house and is no longer welcome at family events. I am not okay with this. My parents made it clear that they really don't care about whether or not I'm with her and have actively tried to get me to leave her. They don't get to make that decision. I CHOSE to stay with Kayla. Nothing is changing my mind. And if that means I have to move to be able to see her, so fucking be it. That all being said, this move ISN'T about that. I'm getting out from under
