Music will take you to some strange places...
Well, nobody has even responded to my commissions...I guess people aren't interested in what I have to offer.
Wanna know the reason I have so many galaxy drawings? I was going to be in an art show. Except the guy that made the offer failed to mention that it wasn't an art show at all. It was a comedy show for a stand-up comedian. We were going to be just filler pieces during intermissions. 5 minutes is all I would have to showcase my stuff, for 50 dollars. Now, you would think I would be okay with this, but I'm not. Not only was I paying 50 USD for my art to be showcased for 5 minutes, but it was 5 minutes out of a 3 HOUR program. I expected to have my own table for the 3 hours because I was told it was an ART SHOW. And the weeks before, I dropped 200 USD for art supplies to make all of these pieces. I was pricing them moderately to make up for the cost and possibly make some sort of profit.
Since I didn't participate in that farce, I wasted $200 on nothing. A wasted venture that has me behind on payments for my laptop and college tuition.
SO I put my stuff on here as commission examples because I thought people might be interested. Apparently that isn't the case. So this is my last galaxy piece. It just isn't what people like, I guess....plus, I'm out of canvases and proper paint supplies to do these anymore.
I don't know, I'm just ranting...sorry for all of this drama.

I was afraid that would happen. It's not that people aren't interested, you're just not getting any exposure. dA is just not the right site, search and features aren't much of a help for people who just started off as they're shadowed by more famous artists on feature pages and cheap spam on the newest list.
I could get some people to make a journal featuring your commission examples, or you could submit them to a popular group. Or you could look for another website.
It takes more than an artist to earn money, you also need good marketing.
